Summary
In the 1930's a lot of American's believed in isolationism, meaning that they had no desire to be involved in foreign wars. Even though at the time president Roosevelt was not an isolationism, he was more concerned about America's economy. After Germany's attack on Poland, congress passed 2 new laws called the cash-and-carry program, and the Lend-lease Act. Hitler had build up German military and method of attack Was called blitzkreig. On december 7 1941,Japan had attacked pearl harbor which made president Roosevelt to ask congress to declare war on japan.

Original Thought :
my original though on this section Was when the u.s.a didn't want to give Japan oil It caused them to get mad and that's why the bombing of pearl harbor happened. During this war there Was a new weapon made called the atomic bomb this brought allot of fear into European countries. The u.s had found out allot about what the Germans where doing to the Jews putting them in concentration camps and killing them and lucky enough u.s Was able to end Germans rain. D-day june 6. 1994 is when Japan oficially surrendered the war and the u.s had won.
